• Responsible for providing health and safety support for 9 fossil-fueled power generation facilities.
• Completed annual employee training on safety topics such as: combustible dust, hazardous communication,
radiation, noise, confined space, lockout/tag-out, mobile equipment, heat & cold stress illnesses, heavy metal
exposure, root cause, etc.
• Conduct accident and incident investigations and near miss investigations to determine cause and possible future
avoidance procedures.
• Routinely performed personal employee exposures to chemical/physical hazards, for example: noise, heavy
metals, asbestos, respirable particulates, ozone, ammonium, hexavalent chromium, diesel particulate (elemental

Wildland Firefighter Fire Seasons 2004-2010

• Suppressed wildland fires throughout the Western United States on a Type 3 fire engine crew.
• As Lead Crewman, I was also qualified as an engine operator, incident commander, and squad boss.
• My duties as an engine operator were to drive the fire engine to the scene of an incident and then operate the
pump while communicating with my superior. This required clear communication and technical skills.
• As incident commander on the scene of a fire, my main responsibilities were to provide safety for all ground and
air forces as well as to maintain a clear chain of command between every agency on site.
• Additional fire duties included: being a lookout, felling trees, communicating with air operations from the ground,
and performing burnouts along with controlled fire operations.
• I completed specialized training in the following: Air Operations, Incident Commander, and Human Factors.
