PROJECT

CO-Generation Of Power Plant in Sulphuric Acid Production

Co Generation or CHP (Combined Heat and Power) is the simultaneous production of fuel and

electricity using a single fuel.

The project was done at Travancore Titanium Products Ltd Trivandrum. Our survey in the regard in

several boilers and furnaces, revealed the facts that mostly some difficult methods were due to the

power failure which leads to the stoppage of the plant.

The Project has mainly concentrated on this difficulty, and hence a suitable solution has been decided

such that power failure can be avoided by utilizing the waste heat that has been produced in the

factory.
