Description:

T he Rhode Island Legislature (RILBT) desires to implement a web solution that allows

p ublic users to register and subscribe for bill status updates, with delivery of these notifications via

t heir email account access through mobile application. To activate the registered account via user

email. Activated user accounts to be used subscribe/unsubscribe the bill. Public user can maintain

account details.

A dmin has the role to allow maximum subscriptions bill limit to configure. To view recently

registered user account, overall user account subscription status and admin can send email alert to

registered user.

Key Aspects:

• Secured data access via role (SQL Server 2008).

• Search and subscribe legislative bills.

• Load Bill Actions from external system.

• Notification for any bills updated in database.

Description:

Create the online portal account for bar exam applicant using Attorney Portal. The system

should get some basic information about the applicant and create the account for the applicant in the

portal.

The RIAP system provides the facility to create an online account for an applicant to bar exam

registration process. The functionality to create online portal bar exam account and facility to login to

t he portal using the online account should be available in the RIAP home page.

Bar exam applicants can be of two types - At torney admission and Non-Attorney admission. If

t he applicant was an attorney in other state and came to practice at RI, then it is an attorney

admission. They may not be needed to fill the entire bar exam application form and other

supplementary forms. Non attorney admission applicant fills the full bar exam application form.

First t ime applicant should choose the applicant type and based on the selection the application

form to the applicant will differ. For both applicant types there is no difference in the sections and in

application forms. Section C is not mandatory for the applicants who are not the attorney in the other

j u risdiction.

Applicant can be able to save the application section by section and once all the mandatory

f ields are filled out by the applicant then applicant should be able to submit the application by paying

t he application fee.
