MAIN PROJECT:

Name of the project : Assembly analysis of crank, piston,

connecting rod.

The aim of the project is to design piston, connecting rod and crankshaft

for 220cc

engine using theoretical calculations. 2D drawings are drafted and models

of piston, connecting rod and crankshaft, assembly of the three components

are done using Pro/Engineer software.

Structural analysis is done on the assembly by applying forces on them.

Modal Analysis is also done. By doing above analysis we are validating our

design either it withstands for the forces applied on the design.

Structural and modal analyses are done by two different materials each for

piston, connecting rod and crankshaft. Comparison is done for both the

analysis.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

* Merit certification in turbulence-2K11(Technical symposium).

* Participated in HR SUMIT conducted by CIST College.

EXTRA CURRICULAR ACTIVITES:

organized by the Department of ME in CIST
