Projects

Secure File Transfer System:- The goal of this project was to establish a secure file transfer

system where only a trusted client will be able to download the data from the file server. The

file server doesn’t have a global unique address and therefore needs to contact an enterprise

department server but these cannot be accessed from outside. Hence we nee d to contact with

the enterprise master server which relays the server which will help Client to download files

from the corresponding Enterprise Department File Server . But before communicating with the

Enterprise Master File Server; Client needs to validate itself as an authenticated user of that

department. So, Client has to authenticate itself via Authentication Server. After verified Client

as an authenticated user, Authentication Server will then generate some session keys which the

Client, Enterprise Master File Server and Enterprise Department File Server will use to

communicate with each other to continue the file downloading session Fall 13

Database Management system:- The goal of this project is develop and test a database

management system this project is divided into four phases, in phase I conceptual design and

requirement analysis is done. In the phase II database design according to the requirement is

made. In phase III consist of Normalizing the database and Phase IV was dem o presentation was

done. Fall 13

Cloud Security and VM Security Simulator:- This was to establish a cloud setup using the VM and open

QRM to make a cloud environment and this also allows the customers to make sure that they are able to

place request for their custom resources and configure cloud. It also consisted using Nagios to monitor

the cloud

Examination Management System is an application which is developed to help the students register for

the exams and the software automatically assigns the exam hall according to the Registration Number

and it also makes sure that the exams are not clashing, with the students and other courses and report if

there is a conflict. It also assigns the invigilation duties to the faculty.

Network Vulnerability Analyzer is a tool which detects if there is any intrusion possible attack in

network and if any vulnerability is detected then it will send a mail to administrator about that.It also

keeps updating the new attack which is possible and they are stored in RDF format which will be used to

check the vulnerability
