Career Summary
I have over 25 years direct experience in the occupational safety and
environmental career field. My recent experience includes ten years of
program management at the FAA Aeronautical Center as an occupational safety
and health engineer with Lockheed Martin Corp. I also am a veteran of the
US Air Force and have twelve years' experience in logistics management.

- Managed the FAA Aeronautical Center Facility Safety Inspection Program.
Conducted inspection audits of FAA facilities for occupational safety and
environmental compliance with regulatory standards to include OSHA,
Environmental Protection Agency, National Fire Protection Association
Codes, National Electric Code, and FAA Orders and Directives.
- Program lead for the FAA Aeronautical Center Radiation Protection Program
and represented the Aeronautical Center as the Radiation Safety Officer.
Performed quarterly ionizing and non-ionizing radiation hazard assessments
and surveys of all FAA radar systems and support equipment at the
Aeronautical Center in accordance with FAA Orders and Directives. Managed
the radon gas measurement program at the Center.
- Conducted job hazard analyses (JHA) and Facility Risk Assessments (FRA)
for occupational workplace tasks and facilities to include all industrial
activities and flight line operations at the Aeronautical Center.
- Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) 18001 team
member establishing criteria and writing procedural documents for the
Aeronautical Center to be compatible with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Team member for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's
Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) that achieved VPP Merit status, the
first branch of the FAA to be awarded this status.
- Managed the calibration program for all industrial hygiene equipment
within the Facilities Services Division at the Center.
