Project Name: Orange HRM 2.5 (Manual testing)

Description: Orange HRM manages all the HR activities. I t is web based application. I t

keeps t rack of all the details of each employee. I t is easy to use. Employees can also use

t his software to change their personal information and to apply for leave. HR can provide

partial admin access to leaders.

Role: Tester

Responsibilities:-

Writing test scenarios.

Writing test cases.

Execute test cases.

Creating Defect report.

Type of testing: Usability testing, functional testing, security testing (basic level)

Project Name: Flight Reservation System 4.0 (Automation testing)

Description: This application is used in airlines to book tickets for customers. I t is a

desktop application. I t keeps record of all the customers. I t maintains records of all the

available or booked seats for different airlines.

Role: Tester

Responsibilities:-

Writing test cases.

Execute test cases.

Creating defect report.

Tools used: Selenium1.0.2 or QTP9.2 or QC9.0, Bugzilla 3.4.4

Title : Web Search Engine. Jan’09 –

Feb’09

Platform : J2SE (1.4).

Role : Software Designing and Testing.

Team Size : 5 Members.

Scope of P roject

This project focuses on developing a “Web Search Engine”. The main aim is to provide high

quality search results over rapidly growing World Wide Web. The operation encompasses

Web Crawling, Indexing and Searching for as many documents as possible and providing

meaningful results for each query as an outcome to the project.
