CAREER DETAILS

Harman International; Tier 1 Automotive manufacturer.

Lab Technician - new product development 1999 - date

Responsible for sample building to meet internal and external requirements

logging all builds and shipments log.

Manage and co-ordinate shipment of all sample part through Lab.

Checking SAP on a daily basis for new customer orders

Compile sample request order of each part ordered by the customer.

Co-ordinate with project managers, transducer engineers and other

laboratory technicians to set build priorities and realistic delivery dead

lines.

Area / Line Supervisor / Training and Skills Assessor 1993 - 1999

Prepare the line for each production variant assigned to the cost centre

using the correct process control procedures.

Allocation of skilled labour as per the job requirement and the agreed

labour allocation plan implementation of rotation systems to support skills

training and employee motivation.

Control the disposition of non-conforming parts

Coach new starters in developing manufacturing skills.

Maintain the line in an orderly state showing respect for people, process

and materials

Maintain a safe and friendly working environment

Line Assembly Operator - Machine maintenance operator, 1988 - 1993.
