Business Support / Analysis/ Implementation of Technology

Solutions

• Lead gathering requirements on the major projects in the Fixed Income

d ivision. This included industry driven initiatives such as Trade Clearing

p latforms.

• Provision of technology solutions to the Operations division as well as to

other users, ranging from root cause analysis to creation of new

f unctionalities or the enhancement of existing systems and processes, in

accordance with the real-time needs of the business

• Resolution of issues in the systems used by Operations to maintain

business integrity (e.g. t rade f lows, reports, data queries etc)

support work to an external company in Bangalore to increase overall

headcount for less dollar value. Moving to a strategic platform to deal with

a ll the support requests so there is a ‘One stop Shop’ to view current open

issues.

• Involved in the team’s yearly business continuity planning where the firm

carries out tests to ensure the technology can run on the backup hardware

i n case of an unexpected shutdown on the primary hardware. Experience

Relationship Management & Communications

• Writing monthly reports to stakeholders to view t rends in issues/exceptions

• Developed tools to support evaluation of “Return on Investment” on projects

u ndertaken by our team. This allows me to prioritise resolution of these

issues/enhancements, based on Return on Investment.

• Lead liaison with the global team in NYC, Tokyo and Bangalore to ensure

smooth, clear and coherent handovers and communication of issues and

developments between the different teams.

effectively across the business and technology divisions . I ntroducing and
