Program -
Sr. Project Manager.
Sr. Project Manager encompassing over 50 school projects with
construction costs ranging from $100,000 to $150 Million. The projects
included construction of new schools; extension to existing schools;
science lab additions; exterior modifications including masonry,
windows, roofs, entrances; libraries; water infiltration solutions;
security systems; CCTV; and audio/video studios. Responsibilities
included managing multiple project assignments, establishing
priorities to meet schedule, enforcing the NYCSCA standards, providing
guidance to other commissioned consultants, and maintaining all
regulatory filing. Facilitating the design process by establishing,
assisting, and providing directions to Consulting Firms.

NYCDDC / FDNY Fire Stations 15 and 81 -
Sr. Project Manager.
Responsible for the management of all the mechanical, electrical,
plumbing, structural, and HVAC engineering, for a group of Fire
Stations in New York, NY. Duties also included preliminary and
schematic design development, interfacing and coordinating with the
various disciplines, overseeing budgeting, schedules, and construction
phasing for the project, and answering questions during construction.

100th Street Bus Depot Design-Build Project -
Sr. Project Manager
Managed the structural, geotechnical, and civil engineering, as well
as environmental services for the fast track, design-build project,
which consists of a new, $120 million, five-story bus maintenance
facility and Depot in Manhattan, NY.
Supervised an extensive preconstruction study to determine acceptable
blasting vibration parameters and the design of the floor system.
During construction, answered audit files, attended the weekly
construction meetings at the site.
Utility Power Generation:

with Wuhan Manufacturing, China.
Responsible for the Global Technology Transfer of Tower and Two-Pass
Boilers. This includes: manage training material preparation process,
establish and monitor training schedule, develop and monitor training
budget. Assure foster open communication, mutual trust, and
transparency between different locations - worldwide. Develop and
maintain a roadmap to fill potentially identified gaps between
engineering and manufacturing to ensure adequate knowledge and smooth
operation. Manage and coordinate vetting efforts, and assure
adherence to schedule and budget.
Alstom Power India Limited (APIL) - Baden, Switzerland
Director - Boiler Component Engineering Center (BCEC)
The "BCEC" was located at Infosys's Pune Campus, India. It was formed
to execute the design and standardization of selected boiler
components, supporting Alstom's three Execution Centers at Stuttgart
Germany, Windsor, CT, and New Delhi, India. Managed the engineering
design and the standardization activities to improve design work
process, and make it more efficient/cost effective.
Worked closely with the Transfer of Technology (TOT) team at Windsor,
and the Knowledge Transfer (KT) team at Baden establishing guidelines
to ensure that the technology and work transferred are performed
allowing the organization to be more fluid when dealing with cross-
segments/cross-business.
Developed various training programs and guidelines to support the
strategic shift from a European/American to an Asian-base for future
growth of the business.
Alstom Power India Limited (APIL) - New Delhi, India
Engineering Manager
Completed a two years assignment in New Delhi, India, as an
Engineering Manager. Managed a workbench of 34 Engineers/Drafters to
design selected boiler components. This included: coordinating in-
house and offshore training programs, developing communication and
management skills, interviewing and hiring activities, control
budget/schedule, and extensive communication effort to coordinate
design issues between the three Lead Centers (New Delhi, Stuttgart and
Windsor).
The selected components included structural steel, buckstay, non-
pressure parts, duct design, pressure parts, and piping. Prepared,
and reviewed Engineering Resource Plans, Organization Charts, and
hiring strategy. As a member of the Capacity & Resource Management
(CRPM), and Tools comities, I participated and supported the "One
Engineering" effort to re-align the Engineering footprint, support
market growth whilst improving the effective use of existing capacity
to minimize risk and secure the delivery of the new & the on-going
projects.
ABB Combustion Engineering Systems - Windsor, CT
Project Manager - Taiwan - Formosa Power
As a Project Manager, I was responsible for coordinating Balance of
Plant (B.O.P) engineering, structural steel and concrete foundation
activities during proposal and contract execution. Project involved
four 600-MW coal-fired utility power boilers. Provided technical input
and guidance on issues such as, scope identification/definition in the
bid stage to ensure a proper profile of costs and risks; specification
and drawings review; sub-contractor oversight; integration with other
execution areas; and problems resolution.

Principal Engineer - Taiwan Power Company -Taiwan
As a Principal Engineer, I supervised the design, and engineering of
the Lin-Kou Flue Gas Desulphurization Systems turnkey project in
Taipei, Taiwan. Coordinated, and communicated with local vendors /
client on schedule and design concerns. Supported the project
construction teams in resolving field problems, clarified design
intent to local subcontractors, and evaluated field modifications.
This included writing Technical Reports, FCR's and DR's to insure that
construction met all design requirements and bids evaluation of
hoists, cranes and pre-engineered buildings.

Project included two 350-MW oil fired boiler and turbine buildings.
Aqaba Thermal Power Station - Jordan
Project included four 130-MW oil fired boiler and turbine buildings.
Samchonpo, Hadong, and Tian Power Stations - South Korea
Project included twelve 500 to 600-MW coal fired boiler buildings.
As a Sr. Consulting Engineer, managed and supervised up to 15
engineers/designers for the above listed oil and coal fired boiler
projects. I was responsible for ensuring that all phases were
completed in a timely and cost effective manner. Reviewed and handled
specifications and participated in selecting suppliers; reviewed and
approved connections, shop and erection drawings. I estimated required
resources and developed standards and Excel design spread sheets for
box columns design. Identified and processed changes that impact
contract margin; checked and assured conformance to contract
specifications and applicable codes/standards. Acted as technical
consultant to management and staff recommendations on engineering
issues; participated actively in project meetings and maintained
correspondence and design files. Role involved both domestic and
international traveling to represent the company on major technical
matters with customer, licensees and suppliers (South Korea, Taiwan,
Jordan, and Italy).

Cambria Co-generation, PA - Twin Oak Steam Electric Station, PA
As a Lead Engineer, I coordinated the efforts of junior level
engineers and designers. Managed the conceptual design of the
structural steel, and foundations of: the Boiler Building, the Fly Ash
Silo, the cooling tower structure, the de-watering bin area, the
associated pipe racks, and the duct support structures. Reviewed and
handled specifications for concrete placement, steel fabrication,
erection, roofing, metal siding and masonry block wall.
