PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Stover & Sons Lawn & Landscape Service, Griffith, Indiana

Maintenance Technician, August 2011-August 2013.

Worked part-time doing all phases of lawn care and maintenance, including

landscape removal and replacement, general cleanup and removal of unwanted

items. Also installed various types of boarder edging, paver bricks, rocks

and mulch.

U.S. Federal Credit Union, Merrillville, Indiana

Cleaned weekly with my wife, 02/11/2011-06/05/2013.

Did all phases of commercial building cleaning and maintenance, including

floor sweeping, polishing, carpet vacuuming, main lobby, teller stations,

lunch room and restrooms. Also cleaned all glass entry ways and cubicle

areas.

Millwright and Industrial Safety Inspector, 2010-Present.

Rebuilt and repaired line shafts and bearing boxes for steel industry,

inspected shop equipment and overhead cranes for wear and damage. Also

monitored employee practices and made sure shop is in OSHA compliance

Opened D& M Imaging with my cousin (Digital and Traditional Photo

Lab).

Setup entire digital department including server room and all internet

connections. Configured all equipment and software, created on-line

customer ordering and automated billing system, trained employee's,

developed production workflow, managed and supported staff. (15

workstations, 3 servers, 1 NAS system, 2 Digital Printers).

Converted Great Lakes Naval Base (Photography Division) from Traditional to

Digital.

Member of transition team along with Express Digital, Inc., Nov. 2008.

Setup server, workstations, router and switch and digital wireless

cameras. Installed software and trained staff on use. Recruits now get

their portraits on the same day they are photographed instead of two

weeks later, as it was with the old system. I Supported staff off-site

for six months.

Burrell Colour Lab, Inc., Crown Point, Indiana

Digital Manager, User Support 1980-2004.

COBOL Programmer 1980-1990. Opened and managed Burrell Colour's first

Digital Imaging Center in 1994. I also named the center "Rainbow

Digital Imaging". This allowed many new revenue streams that Burrell

Colour could not service before the imaging center opened. I selected

all equipment (Hardware and Software), created production workflow and

customer on-line ordering and automated billing system. Trained and

supported all staff (50 workstations, 8 servers, 2 NAS systems, 6

Digital Printers, FDDI fiber optic network). Employed for (24) years

until change of ownership.
