business plan to increase club revenues through promoting tournaments, golf lessons, golf camps for kids,

and increasing play through the promotion of the club.

Reporting to the StoneMor Regional President, responsible for the performance and operations of the

corporate casket warehouse for South Carolina including shipping, receiving, and delivery of caskets to

funeral homes located at Frederick Memorial Park, Gaffney SC, Good Shepard Memorial, Boiling Springs SC,

and Springhill Memorial Gardens, Chesnee SC. Responsibilities included managing all aspects of cemetery

grounds, approximately 780 interments a year, supervising 11 employees, receiving incoming caskets, and

maintaining warehouse inventories. Accomplishments: decreasing operating expenses by $13,000 for all three

locations.

cemetery services. SCI operates in 43 states, eight Canadian Provinces and the District of Columbia, with

Service Corporation International - October 1996 to November 2011

Reporting to the Regional President, responsible for managing operation budgets and cemetery grounds for

both Sharon Memorial Park in Charlotte, NC, and Lakeland Memorial Park in Monroe, NC, including 900 to

1,100 interments a year and 70 marker installations a month. Provided positive interaction with grieving families

during their time of loss. Other duties included backhoe, mowers and weed eater operations. Accomplishments:

managing operations under budget during tenure with SCI.

ECI Corporation is a funeral services company providing specialized funeral services designed to meet the

needs of each family, assisting in funeral service arrangements, funeral flowers, casket choices, appropriate

music selection, and local accommodations. ECI Corporation was purchased by Service Corporation

International.

in Asheville, NC, and Lewis Memorial Park in Asheville, NC. Managed 4 crews, a total of 11 employees,

responsible for ensuring that all perpetual requirements were met, including 1,250 interments per year. Other

duties included operation of backhoe equipment, set-up of casket lowering devices, mower and other power

equipment operation including chain saws, tampers, and pole saws. Accomplishments: Beautification Award

for the Region ('92-95), Budget Buster Award, Under Budget ('93-96), Safety Award ('92-96)

Is a privately owned cemetery that also provides services that include assisting in funeral service

arrangements, funeral flowers, casket choices, appropriate music selection, and local accommodations.
