Managed a department (up to 250, including contractors) which produced energy 2x400 MVA with rated voltage of 24kV/400kV. Organized maintenance system. Planned and directed routine maintenance. Responsibilities included: Mechanical, Electrical, Control, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Contraction and Heating. Wrote maintenance strategies. Provided on the job training for new engineers and technicians. The work was especially difficult because of many years with little maintenance and war damage. Also wrote environmental reports and took action to minimize the frequency and severity of accidents and injuries. Worked with all departments on the development and implementation of safety and loss prevention programs.
