M.S.UNIVERSITY, BARODA having worked in Oil industry since last 21

years in various capacities as Mechanical maintenance engineer/Chief

mechanic, Procurement planner, Barge engineer/rig mover.

1. Attended courses on Marine operations of self-elevating platforms at

Aberdeen, UK.,Maintenance of Jacking system at BLM, France and

Management of major emergencies at Malaysia.

Work Experience:

1. Hands on experience & part of the profession for more than 25 years in

Oil industry in various capacities and worked in varied

American/Russian designed drilling rigs.

1. Worked both in Onshore and Offshore.

1. Experience of conducting 39 rig moves in Western Indian Offshore and

Persian Gulf in safest & efficient manners.

Cyber rig in Persian Gulf, was also entrusted for commissioning trials of

the rig at Singapore yard, procurement of operational spares, wet tow from

Sharjah to location and spudding /establishment of management system with a

new client.

June 2006-March 2008: (Maintenance In-charge)

Maintenance In-charge of Production installations (GGS, CTF & WIP) of

ONGCL, Assam, leading a large team of mechanical maintenance personnel.

Barge Engineer of Off-shore jack-up rig Sagar Uday (300'-BMC designed)

deployed at Mumbai Off-shore for Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.

1. Worked as Mechanical Maintenance In-charge (Chief Mechanic) with ONGC

Ltd for On-land deep drilling rigs of American (BHEL/Oil-well make

drilling operations as per the requirement of company to drill wells

upto 3500 mt depth in Gandhar area of western onshore.
