1.TITLE - Power Factor correction using zvs and zcs.

Descriptions:

The aim of the design is to develop a simulation model, based on Embedded microcontroller

(8051) that is used for correcting the power factor of a given load so that the overall efficiency of

our system can be improved.

We t ry to bring the power factor of the load as close as unity as can be possible using a

combination of static capacitors and 8051 microcontroller.

This project design makes use of 8051 micro controllers for interfacing to various

hardware interfaces. Technology today is seeing its heights in all the areas, especially in the

a rea of Embedded Systems
