Project Work
Wireless Controlled Android Robot (WICAR) during 2011-13
It is a personal project made alone with an Idea generated from Team Viewer and VM ware applications. Using virtual box we can
install one OS on the other and by using team viewer we can remotely access our devices.
So I thought why can’t we remote control a device from anywhere in the world. Then I got the answer as WI-CAR which is an
android ICS installed Robot which we can be controlled through our PC or Laptops by installing Virtual Network Computing clients
to our PC .We can locate our Robot position using GPS, view the video from its front camera and move it by sending commands
from our PC to robot(WICAR). android applications using Eclipse IDE they are raky452 server,raky452Serial and raky452USB-
Terminal applications which are installed on my android Robot
WI-CAR works for 6 hours on battery high sensitive movements i.e. turns 5 degrees left or right and 5centi meters front or back
depending on the command about specifications A-GPS and 2MP camera.
