Accomplishments Managed to learn duties within 2
months without training. Initiated programs for
city employees: Employee Health Challenge, Drink

Responsiblities Managed staff of 5 employees,
additionally including all contracted staff:
medical physician, employee assistance program
personnel, drug and alcohol program personnel to
include the medical review officer, and all

programs. Ensured consistency of our policies and
procedures for all 2,400 employees in reference to

HIPPA. Improved and renovated the City's Drug and
Alcohol Policy and Procedure Manual.

include: department's budget, proposals to City
Council on all contracted personnel, maintaining
clinic in top operational status by keeping
inventory on supplies (educational material,

procedures vai policies and procedures, and
maintained additional health programs and health

of daily living care, hemodinamics care, dialysis

responsibilities within 2 weeks.
Responsiblities Nurse 10-20 patients daily by
preventing infectious using sterile technique for
wound debridement care for patients that have
difficulty healing, and circulatory problems such
as: venous insufficiency, varicose veins, lymph
edema, heart disease, arteriosclerosis, peripheral
vascular disease, stroke, hypertension,
hyperlipidemia, chronic illness such as Diabetes.
Use of hyperbaric for faster healing process of
serious wounds.

ABSTINENCE EDUCATOR
Accomplishments The teenage pregnancy percentage
dropped as a result of this program. Managed all
aspects of the retreats held on weekends for
students and the coordination of these events were
accomplished due to good rapport with area
businesses who donated food and beverage to these
events. Area commercial businesses also donate
money and fun activity item due to established
relationship with area businesses.
Responsibilities Teach junior high students about
sexual abstinence to decrease teenage pregnancy in
middle schools within the Laredo Independent School
District during physical education class. Included
were topics on Self-Esteem, Peer Pressure, Goals,
Education, Positive Thinking, and Sexual
Abstinence.

Accomplishments Managed to increase communication

marketing techniques.
