Major project:I MPLEMENTATION OF FIXED POINT FAST FOURIER TRANSFORM (FFT)

The project involves the implementation of fixed point fast fourier t ransform for real value

signals.

Fixed point specifically is used to eliminate the need to convert the data into another format

The project aim was to build a mobile device for less power consumption using optimized

structure.

S/W languages used to develop were VSDL ( Very high speed integrated circuit hardware

description language ), MATLAB, C & Xilinx SDK and EDK

FFT is widely used for bio medical signal analysis to compute the DFT

Other advantages of FFT is in spectral analysis,speech,audio,Image, radar processing.

M i nor project : MOBILE TRACKER

The project was intended to detect unauthorized use of mobile phone in examination hall.

Also used to track unauthorized radio signals and videos

Capable to detect the mobile phone even if it is kept in silent mode.
