1984
Project Engineer on Standard Missile II warhead development program for the
Naval Surface Weapons Center.
Developed a spiral broaching method to form Pearson Notches on the inside
diameter of the warhead case and determined the mass producibility.
Responsible for the procurement of broaching machine and broach tooling and
determining its suitability for production use.
Responsible for vendor interface, procurement of materials, budgeting,
scheduling, and cost estimating. Responsible for liaison with naval
personnel and generation of progress and technical reports.
