Design Management

Objective

My goal is to obtain a long term position utilizing my skills and talent in a

design oriented environment, which also has the possibility of growth to excel

in a positive atmosphere while integrating knowledge of Architectural Interior

Design to create functional aesthetically pleasing environments that are

conducive to client needs and lifestyle.

Experience

Ethan Allen Design Center, Pineville, NC October 2010-March 2013

- Daily objective is to offer in-home and in-store design consultations to

prospective residential and commercial clients, overseeing various customized

projects from start to finish, conferring with other departments to discuss the

logistics of delivery and services. Design services would in tell new

construction and demolition projects, space planning, product selection,

computer generated floor plans, presentation boards and power point

presentations to effectively communicate design based on the client's budget.

Tools such as ArchiCAD, AutoCAD and Photoshop assisted with this process.

Davidson House Interiors June 2008-June 2009

Space planning residential and commercial environments such as local restaurant

spaces, Healthcare facilities and corporate offices, Drafting Construction

Documents by hand as well as Computer- Aided Design, Rendering various drawings

to communicate design vision and the effects of color in an environment. Task

also included merchandising retail store and design studio ensuring inventory

accuracy and product availability, complete purchase orders/ special orders and

oversee on-site project development.

Interiors by Moyanne May 2005-June 2008

- Specialized design services for commercial and residential design by

communicating interior and exterior environmental factors relating to color

study, space planning alternatives, and product specifications. Communicate

logistics of projects from the conceptual stage and on-site development to

delivery.

Lane Furniture Market 2001-2005

- Utilize knowledge of showrooms and design to implement and create displays

- Coordinate show case furniture

- Accented free standing units
