Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for quality assurance & quality control at the project site and report to the QA/QC Manager in the issues related to nonconformance & deficiencies in the quality management process at the site. Assist the QA/QC Manager in overall quality control of the site, provide advises & suggestion to improve quality control at construction site & assist project manager to achieve the target with respect to quality issues & ISO 9001:2000. Assist the QA/QC Manager in preparation of all related quality documents such as ITPs & Method Statements.

Selection of construction materials & final approval of client.

Designing of different structural concrete of various grades including SLIPFORM structure.

Coordination & direct supervision on all activities related to laboratories & field tests and Concrete Production of different grades of concrete from Batching Plant.

Conduct quality awareness meetings & inductions for site engineers & other construction staffs.

To prepare all documents related to inspection & attend all inspection for different individual activities of the site & ensure that it is as per latest approved drawings.

* Monitoring & testing of different materials (Soil, Cement, Aggregate & Bitumen) at field laboratory as per relevant IS Codes, preparation of reports and approval.

* Dealing with Consultant and Client before any test or sampling.

* Conducted field testing on Embankment, Subgrade, Granular Sub Base, Dry Lean Concrete Beds (Filed density By Nuclear Density Gauge, By Sand replacement method).

* Design of various grades of structural Concrete, Pavement Quality Concrete, Dry Lean Concrete as per the relevant IS Codes & “MOST” specification. Supervision and monitoring of all tests to Design of Subgrade, Sub-Base, Wet Mix Maccadam, Water Bound Maccadam as per “MOST”.

* Sampling and arrangement for 3rd party testing of all reinforcement steel as per frequency mentioned in QAP.

* Choosing of borrow area pre considering the nature of material, sampling and approval from client after being conducted all relevant tests as per MOST.
