Professional Summary
RCP with 22 years experience in various health care settings. Skilled in providing care in Adult ICU, Pedi ICU, NICU
and for the last 4 years have specialized in all home medical equipment. I primarily worked with children on ventilators
by instructing caregivers on the management of ventilators, feeding pumps, cpap's, rehab equipment and wound care
management. I gave inservices on ventilators to classes of paramedics, nursing agencies and as the supervisor of the
McAllen, Brownsville and Corpus offices, I would train all new RT's on all equipment and procedures from
downloading vent's, cpaps and apnea monitors, to the set up and scanning of polysonopneumograms with a PH
probe. I have done the only set up in mid and south Texas on a young adult with muscular dystrophy who is benefiting
from a portable ventilator via mouthpiece interface. Also, I applied, and was chosen to partake in a trial study for a
new type of BiLevel with iVAPS technology. My pt was only the second person in the USA to participate in this study.
However, I was looking to continue my work in a hospital setting.
