PROJECT TITLE : A New Approach to Multifunctional Dynamic Voltage Restorer

(DVR)

Implementation for Emergency Control in Distribution Systems

TEAM SIZE : Five members.

CONTRIBUTION : Team leader.

SDESCRIPTION : This project deals with in distribution systems how the power

quality problems will be mitigated by using DVR.By using DVR higher voltage power

quality problems will be easily and quickly solved. DVR consists of four components

.They are energy storage unit, transformer, filter, control unit. In that four components

energy storage unit is most important. The main advantage of this project is frequently

occurring voltage problems i.e. voltage sag and voltage swell will reduce by using high

voltage energy storage unit.

I got first prize in RAMANUJAN TEST.
