EXPERTISE developed in Aerospace Project Engineering with space hardware

development during a period of more than five years supporting N.A.S.A.

RESEARCHED and developed plans for the fire extinguisher system for use on

manned, orbital vehicles.

DEVELOPED and oversaw large Statement of Work documents collaborating with

multiple outside vendors.

OVERSAW the successful delivery of Active Soft Capture System Engineering

Development Unit of the iLIDS Docking System on an accelerated schedule.

PERFORMED architecture design for both Phase One and Two deliveries for the

Swingbed Experimental Payload as well as the final pre-launch hardware

checkout for the on-time delivery of Phase One.

TRANSITIONED proof-of-concept designs into actual flight products for both

the Emergency Mask and Fire Cartridge for International Space Station

(ISS). This included requirements definitions, pre-production hardware

fabrication and design verification. Created the respirator cartridge in

case of fire aboard the ISS.

o Coordinated drawing initial release and revisions of mechanical,

electrical, digital code, and electro-mechanical systems.

o Managed avionics system drawing releases, outside manufacture and

assembly, internal assembly of electrical and electromechanical

systems.

o Assisted in strategic planning and design verification and

troubleshooting activities.

Project Engineer (Swingbed Experimental Payload)

o Designed system architecture and instrumentation for a three fluid

system.

o Generated and managed requirement documents for a flight experiment

which interfaced with the cabin atmosphere and space vacuum.
