• Multiphase Systems for Bioanalysis
• Proteins And Enzymes Sample Preparation methods for Proteomics Analysis
• Protein quantification by HPLC (most experienced) and LC-MS (less experienced obtained
in proteomics course)
Work Experience:
January 2009-present North Carolina State University
Graduate Teaching Assistant Raleigh, NC
Teach classes and labs including General Chemistry (CH 201 & CH101), Quantitative Analysis (CH
315) for 5 years. Manage and teach general chemistry Labs (CH202 & 102).
Grade lab reports, analytical chemistry related homework, and exams. Give lab briefings to help
students understand the theory behind the lab experiments the y are running. Do sample preparation
and instrument evaluation for the quantitative laboratory courses before course schedule. Tutor
students at tutorial center to discuss and solve students’ difficulties regarding conception and their
homework.
Sep 2006- Dec 2008 Jaber Pharmaceutical Company
Scientist Tehran, Iran
Developed and validated HPLC and GC methods according to USP (United States Pharmacopeia) for
starting materials, raw materials, intermediates and drug substance in Jaber pharmaceutical company
located in Karaj-Tehran-Iran. These methods would help to rigorous verification of pharmaceutical
ingredients in QC unit.
Accomplished research on developing a new project in the mentioned above pharmaceutical
company for inhaler production including both analysis of products and releasing documentation.
Cooperated with pharmacist colleagues in R & D unit to develop inhaler analysis methods, safety
assessment and documentation (Standard of Procedures, (SOP)) for routine qualitative and
quantitative analysis that would be used by QC colleagues at the end.
Trained systematically on GC-MS and HPLC during my work experience in pharmaceutical Co. and
PhD career. In addition, experienced in Particle Size Analyzers, Karl Fischer, Potentiometric and
Colorimetric Titrations, Residue on Ignition, Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC), Ion Exchange
Chromatography, Capillary Electrophoresis (CE), and FTIR, UV, Fluorescence, IR and ATR-IR,
Fluorescence microscopy and NMR analysis.
May 2003- Sep 2003 Golrang Detergent Company
Intern Tehran, Iran
Trained on different titration methods for detergents assay used in health care industries such as
bleachers, shampoos and conditioners.
