WORK EXPERIENCE
Aug 10 – Present, Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling, ASSISTANT SUBSEA
ENGINEERING SUPERVISOR.
Planned for subsea systems operations, maintenance, and repair. Organized, briefed, and directly
control assistance team for pulling and running the BOP stack. Supported operations involving
subsea and surface support equipment. Performed calculations on riser stress analysis, land out
and pick up weights, and tensioner kips per mud weight. Installed subsea equipment during
drilling operations. Pre planned all evolutions for most efficient, time effective operations.
Installed and maintained all components and parts of BOP systems and related equipment.
Maintained and tested all drilling or marine subsea and surface support equipment. Troubleshot all
subsea and surface equipment and recommended corrective actions. Witnessed all pressure, latch
up and weight set tests on subsea safety and/or completion equipment to ensure all evolutions were
performed safely and in a timely manner. Maintained internal and external preservation of all
subsea equipment through periodic maintenance. Performed and witnessed measurements of
subsea equipment to ensure proper tolerances were met. Maintained and repaired surface unit high
pressure hydraulics. Assisted with repair and maintenance of electronic controls for all related
subsea equipment. Troubleshot and repaired equipment for the subsea stack and surface control
units.
Apr 06 – Apr 10, United States Navy, Little Creek Amphibious Base, Norfolk, VA,
ENGINEMEN.
Aligned fuel, water and air piping systems and controlled operation of diesel engines used for ship
propulsion, to propel small craft, and to generate electrical power. Cleaned, lubricated, adjusted,
tested and performed other preventive maintenance on diesel engines, reduction gears, air
compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic clutches, steering engines, and controllable pitch propeller
systems. Operated and maintained desalinization plants used to make fresh water from sea water.
Operated and serviced refrigeration plants and air conditioning systems. Responsible for all
shipboard gauge calibration.
