Intrusion Detection System Spring 2013

Developed a program to recognize port scanning on a specific host by analyzing the host’s trace file and the TCP

dump file. Extended the program, further to recognize a port scan in real time and captured the packets associated

with the scan. Conducted a performance analysis to determine points of failure and the maximum traffic the

network could withstand.

Input validation and security analysis for telephone numbers Spring 2013

Developed an algorithm to perform name and phone number validation based on specific requirements.

WEP key cracking Spring 2013

Changed the setting of wireless LAN to WEP enabled and used password cracking tools to obtain the WEP key.

Loan Arranger Tool Spring 2013

Designed a loan arranger tool to help the analyst of a loan organization handle loan transactions.

Implementation of Cocktail Watermarking in Blackfin Processor Spring 2011

Developed a technique using cocktail watermarking to transmit a secret message inside the pixels of an image in
