validation of the U387 (Ford Edge) second row center armrest, and the RT Integral Child Belt
Positioning Booster Seat system. Directed test and validation program of the Grammer Crash
Active Head Rest. Redesigned CAHR for the North American market that lead to head rests being
programmed for production at DCX.
Lead Engineering Consultant, Intier, 6/1/05 – 8/1/06, R & D Seating Group, Helped to develop Active
Head Rest solutions aimed at meeting new performance standards, directed design, analysis,
prototype build, and test, (IIHS & FMVSS 202a.)
Applied for 5 patents. The Energy Absorbing Seat frame (PCT/CA 06/001783) patent application, as
well as, Child Booster seat Patent D558-990.
Directed the coordination of the Auto21 Child Seating Program for Intier Seating and Magna After
Market. Applied for (authored) and received a research grant for Magna from Auto21 / Canadian
government.
Production Launch of Magna’s first After Market product: Child Portable Belt Positioning

Designed the1990 Ferrari F40 to meet the US street legal safety standards, and had tooled &
manufactured the unique components for the US market
