Professional Experience in Managing/Designing and developing RIS and Medication
Accomplishments M anagement applications.
Managed, designed, developed and enhanced existing Tele-Radiology
system. System processes CT, MRI and X-Ray images from imaging
centers/hospitals to Radiologist workstations. Incorporated voice
recognition feature to digitize Radiologist dictation. System is utilized
by over 50 hospitals and imaging centers in addition to dozens of
Radiologists.
M anaged, designed and developed Report Admin module. Module
saved hours of manual modifications on MS Server by providing web
i nterface. Change enables the Radiologist assistant to send faulty
r adiologist reports back to t ranscriptionist portal for corrections.
Developed Radiology Assistant module with group specialty feature.
Module allows assistant to assign studies to Radiology
G roups/Radiology Specialties and individual Radiologists.
Team building, Project management from inception to completion.
M anaged, designed, developed and tested Airport web application
u tilized by airports nationally. Effort required that I web enable an
existing 3 dimensional airspace analysis desktop program that airports
used to determine structure heights. Application also provided
a irports a notification via a web service of new county building
applications with heights above 200 ft. The airports then extracted the
l atitude, longitude of building applications to determine if proposed
structure penetrated airports airspace. Project requirements were
gathered via phone, email and onsite meetings.
M anaged, designed, developed and tested web application for I-dent-a-
kid. I-dent-a-kid is a national franchise based in ST. Petersburg, FL.
Company required a method of providing web based templates to
F ranchisees. Application required administration and franchisee
portals where PDF templates and print material are uploaded and
edited. Once uploaded, franchisee would have access via a form to
i nput pertinent information onto PDF template. Application enabled I-
dent-a-kid one central location for template and print uploads and also
enabled franchisees template edit and print functionality online.
A pplication ascertains a consistent look and feel on print material used
by franchisees nationally.
Above described I-dent-a-kid project required that I create a team of
developers and designers. To keep t rack of progress, View Path (Web
based project management software) was utilized.
