Experience

I have worked in Paisley Park Bowling club where I was a barman for the summer. In doing this

job it gave me some confidence in how to deal with regular customers, and I feel that this job has

gave me some experience in that I may have lacked for the work world.

D2 Castle court - November 2010 – January 2012

I worked in D2 Jeans for just over one year, I was taken on originally as a Christmas temp and

they decided in the end to keep me on. I think that this shows that I work hard and also shows

that I am a dedicated and enthusiastic worker.

I had many jobs and duties to do while I was at d2, many included;-

•Till

•Making the customers aware of the latest offers that we had on.

•Making the customers aware of our return policy.

•Standards.

•Keeping the shop tidy and looking at its very best.

Thanks to my time at D2 Jeans I believe that this has encouraged me to stay within the retail

industry as I thoroughly enjoyed my time there, and believe that I gained and learnt a lot of new

skills that will help me in my venture for a new job within the retail industry.

Hoi Polloi Castlecourt June 2012 - January 2013

I worked Hoi-Polloi in Castle court as my previous manager in D2 got the manager’s position

and brought me back. I believe that this shows that I am a great worker as he has went out of his

way to bring me back to work for him again.

I enjoy working in Hoi-Polloi and believe that the shop is growing in reputation week by week,

but I am now seeking a new challenge as I have been with d2/Hoi polloi for a number of years

now and think it’s about time for me to move and try another challenge within the work industry.

I have just recently been made Supervisor of the store, I believe this shows that the boss has

great confidence in me and also shows that I am a good and hard worker.

Albert Foundry Bowling Club – June 2010-Present

I currently work In Albert Foundry Bowling club every Sunday, and also usually work one or

two nights a week depending on when they need me. I enjoy working here as I believe it has

helped me develop more skills and has helped me to deal with customers a lot more.

My duties in the bar are to serve customers and to also make sure that the bar is kept neat and

tidy.

Republic Clothing- March 2013-Present

I have just recently started in Republic clothing which I am enjoying greatly. Everyone has been

friendly and has helped me a lot. Only thing I am disappointed in is the amount of hours I’m

getting I am only getting about 16 a week and I am looking a lot more than that.

Responsibility

I attended the Belfast Boys’ Model School where I was in Year 14. When I was a Prefect and

have different duties that I have to carry out, such as helping at Open Evenings, corridor duty

and I have to set an example at all times for the younger pupils.
