Professional Summary

Enthusiastic student currently completing clinical rotation of the Phlebotomy program at Central Piedmont Community College. Familiar with venipuncture techniques, and trained to collect blood using standard and specialized types of needles in under three minutes. Self-motivated to consistently perform to a set time schedule, improve quality and productiveness. I am eager to learn new skill sets and examples of working practices handed down to me by the greater medical team and staff that my role will encounter on a daily basis. It is important to report and log the incoming and outgoing work flow that is appointed to me, as well as to provide excellent communication and care for patients. I will undertake my role as a practicing phlebotomist with the upmost professionalism and high quality that any medical or clinical center demands.

Licenses

I am currently training and will complete over 100 successful venipunctures, and 100 hours of clinical work by December 11th, 2013. Once I have completed the class, I plan to take the examination certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology.

"The Big Sweep" 8 hours Cleared the waterways of the greenway in downtown Charlotte. I worked as a team member to help clear these passageways to keep the community as well as the environment clean and clutter free.
