Process Engineering / Operations Support

and forehearth color concentrates for the glass industry.

Sales Service / Technical Support
. Responsible for technical support, sale forecasting and service of
six Porcelain Enamel customers ($2.5 million annual sales) in
northern GA and eastern TN.
o Key contact for customer production, engineering,
purchasing, and management personnel to address customer
issues and ensure timely delivery of product.
o Successfully led in-plant product development effort to
protect $1.5million business at one customer
. Responsible for sales and technical service of Forehearth Color
Concentrates used by domestic and international glass
manufacturing customers
o Interfaced directly with Ferro foreign affiliates and agents
to support global business including overseas travel to
Europe, Far East, South America and Middle East.
o Conducted on-site equipment startup and customer training.
o Supervised lab development work for new colors and products
to meet customer requirements
o Successfully led 1997 project to update marketing and
promotional literatures including sales brochure, technical
data sheets, informational CD and technical magazine article.
Management/Supervisory
. Responsible for the planning and production of spray-dried lead
zirconate titanate piezoelectric ceramic powders
o Ensure raw material and ceramic powder availability as feed
stock for all finished goods
. Manage personnel and equipment capacity requirements
