Responsible for the coordination, scheduling and oversight of gas construction projects

in RI assigned to outside contractors to ensure all work is performed in accordance

with National Grid standards and procedures. My responsibilities include project

design/constructability review, SOP preparation, provision of materials, technical

direction, safety, quality and environmental assurance, increase and monitor

Managed the planning and execution for multiple swing shift work crews and

construction activities including TBM mining, drill-and-blast excavation, pre-

excavation support spilling, shot-creting, re-medial re-cribbing at ring steel

locations and roadheader excavation. Responsibilities included coordinating

with general superintendent, project engineers and field engineers,

resolving field issues and conflicts, coordinating material delivery, track

shift production and cost, monitor work to ensure it complied with contract

documents and MTA quality standards, submit shift reports and

implemented company safety policy. Established effective team

segmental lined (17-ft finished diameter) CSO storage tunnel. Reviewed contract

documents for material requirements, quantity take-off's and pricing, assisted with bid

packages and material procurement. Generated a list of required submissions and

tracked all submittals and RFI’s. Worked with suppliers as required facilitating the

handling and expediting the delivery of all materials. Identified and coordinated

pricing for change orders, tracked all T&M work, reviewed subcontractor and supplier

invoices and completed payment requisitions. Tracked daily quantities from field

operations, prepared monthly progress payments to MWRA and assisted in schedule

maintenance and updates. Followed awarded subcontracts as assigned.

and material requirements. Performed complete quantity take-off’s, developed price

work based on production rates and subcontractor input. Researched for

constructability methods, initiated RFI's, contacted subcontractors and suppliers for

quotes, assisted in preparation of bid packages and performed additional assignments

as needed.

Field Engineer (Market Street Elevated Transit Construction - Philadelphia, PA)

Provided field supervision and engineering support for the construction of 3,600 LF of

elevated precast concrete guideway. Prepared material take-off’s, tracked operation

costs and quantities, generated RFI’s and resolved concrete construction issues in

support of on-going field work.

Project Engineer (Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Seismic Retrofit Project – Richmond, CA)

Provided engineering support to field operations for all structural steel related construction

activities for the seismic retrofit of a 4.5-mile long cantilever bridge. Prepared material

take-off's, engineering calculations and technical drafting, gathered and prepare data

for submittals to Caltrans representatives. Generated RFI’s, change orders and as-

built data. Provided field support and supervised subcontractor operations.
