Project Description
There are several projects involved, to name few of them where I involved
in are, Customer Profitability, Pipeline KPI Reporting, Set LP to Assets
based on contract date
Customer Profitability: CBG is a part of the CITI NAIT business group and
as a part of this project the business will understand the profitability
of the customer. In 'Customer profitability' business will provide the
input files to load the data into production. The data will be initially
loaded into staging areas, in this area the data will be and validated
and invalid data will be rejected and the rejected data will be sent to
appropriate team to look into it. After completion of staging load, the
data will be loaded into Repository Database, where in the business rules
will be applied, after completion repository the data will be loaded into
Data Mart and subsequently to summary tables and cubes. After completion
of the mart the end users will be able to view the latest Dash Board and
different kinds of reports for analysis purpose.
The COGNOS Managerial Reports will be redesigned to have its own tab in
the CBG Sales Platform and rolled out in conjunction with Salesforce.com
roll-out. The new design will reduce the number of "clicks" and improve
speed to get to the data that managers would like to see. The report data
will be updated on a weekly basis, refreshed scheduled on Sunday evenings
to ensure that the data is most up-to-date every Monday morning. The
purpose of the COGNOS reports is to support managers on each level to
manage their group's pipeline status. Furthermore, the new design will
provide the view not only on the RM hierarchy levels, but also on the
product levels that are currently not available
