. Worked with engineers as they developed new features being implemented
for new drives as our group tested them and compared the results to
previous products and competitive products.
. Testing ran on anything from DOS, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8, HP
servers, Dell servers, and Ubuntu all of which depended on products
and vendor requests.

Analysis department for one of the largest hard drive manufacturing
companies in the world.
. Worked with software engineers to debug their internal database
system; catalogging any problems the database had with inputting
values, gathering data, or with work load.
. Every other week was a discussion with a group manager to discuss what
parameters they track, what is being implamemnted to improve future
products, and what their results were for the data entry. For data
entry we discussed with all group members to help them get syncronised
with projects they all need and use to help remove duplicates to make
the database easier for the users.
. On competitive products I was in charge of BOMs and catalogging their
key components which were then compared to earlier and future
products.

. Manage drive inventory as well as record competitive drive data and
pcba components. Once I have recorded data and taken pictures and x-
rays I initiate BOM for new pcba, compare similar drive class with
test results, setup presentation slides and comparison information.
After all the data has been gathered another task I would perform is
the trending of data and speculates what our goal is for our next
class of product.
. Being part of the competitive analysis department meant we had to
purchase our competitions products and test them to see what the
actual test report results were verses what the company had told the
customer on their website, datasheet, and product manual.
. While initiating a BOM for a new pcba I logged SOC, DRAM, and PLSI and
compared them to the same class of product to see if the drives over
all test results were varied due to the newer components.
