foundry exporting components such as crank case, hydraulic valves.

Responsibilities:

* Installation & commissioning of foundry equipments such as induction

furnaces (make: inductotherm, 3 tones & 1 tone) with cooling systems,

high pressure DISA molding machine (130B), 300 tones storage capacity of

DISA Sand plant, shot blasting machines (vp-14, DTC), RIECO pneumatic

pumping systems, dust collectors, screw compressors, DG Sets (630 kva), 2

tones capacity ABP Auto pouring machine, 8 tone capacity EOT Cranes.

* Installation & commissioning of electrical equipments such as furnace

transformer(make:T&R,33kv/570v,5.75mva),distribution

transformer(make:T&R,33kv/433v, 2.5mva), HT vacuum Circuit

Breakers(Make:megawin,33kv),MV panels, MCC panels, SSB panels, lighting

distribution panels, APFC panels as per electrical drawings.

* Performing mechanical adjustments and valve calibrations in DISA moulding

machine 130B.

* Technical analysis of all kinds of Electrical faults and/or breakdown,

troubleshooting and minimizing breakdown of plant equipments like DMM

130B, Sand plant, induction furnaces.

* Proficiency in working with Siemens, Schneider electric and L&T

switchgears.

* Performing duties as Maintenance Engineer for sub-station equipment like

Transformers, VCB's, ACB's, APFC panel.

* Performing the testing of:

. BDV of Transformer oil (once in 6 months), bushings, silica gel at

site.

. Transformer protection circuits checked in 33 KV VCB once in months.

. Earth fault relay, earth leakage relay, over load relay etc

periodically. (Once in 2 months)

. Circuit breakers (5000 amps, 1250 amps, 800 amps) at site.

* Supervising load estimation of equipments, monitoring & controlling the

loads for different units with the help of MD controller (make: Schneider

electric ltd).

* Monitoring & maintenances of the automatic power factor correction relay

to limit the control the contract demand within limit to avoid power

factor penalty.

* APFC panel modified to improve the power factor to cut down EB penalty as

well as demand charges resulting saving of Rs 32000 per month.

* Panel wiring done for shell molding machine and operated successfully.

shell closer machine.
