02/15-07/19 Arris-Denver, CO. Project Coordinator II assigned to Comcast N. California Managed Arris contractors on upgrading Arris CMTS E6000 routers. Installed fuse panels and ran DC power cables from fuse panels to Transmitters and Receivers. Pulled fiber cables from source to transmitters and receivers as well as pulling coax to combining chassis. Worked along side with Comcast Technicians on Node segmentations (node splits), pulled coax and data cables from combining to pathtrak, sweep switches and ARPD whenever necessary. Tested, landed, and properly labeled all cables pulled for cable identification and trouble shooting purposes. 09/08-02/15 Arris-Denver, CO. Level III Technician assigned to Comcast N. California Installed Comcast Headend equipment, including rack, aux bar and ladder rack space allocation; Ran DC wiring from BDFB’s and BDCBB’s to fuse panels and breaker panels of all types utilized by Comcast, from fuse panel and breaker panels to customer equipment; all systems and alarms RF, catV and catVI, fiber run lists and connectivity layouts, all designed to meet the customer’s needs with critical attention paid to quality, economy, and serviceability. Prepared installation projects by determining cable sizes and footages required, connector sizes and quantities for all systems, fuse and breaker size and quantity, infrastructure and grounding requirements; and implement installation. Performed all aspects of Headend equipment installations such as assembling, cabling, connectorizing and testing of all systems. Communicated with Headend technicians, managers, supervisors and engineers to ensure proper quality installation on time every time without service interruption. 07/00-04/08 Komtech, LDW, Iwire, Online Comm., Ironwood Comm., Vitel comm., and Volt Telecomm are all South bay and Santa Clara County Companies. For 8 years I worked with multiple low voltage contracting communications companies which service and install Cable TV, Internet, Telephone, Satellite and Fiber Optics. Working with equipment such as satellite locaters, fusion fiber splicers, cable TV meters, TDR, OTDR and other test equipment used for low voltage cabling. Tools such as various strippers and crimpers punch down tools and other tools that simplified the work at that time. My dedication in this field of work promoted me from installation and Q.C. of field service work to supervising install techs and dispatchers to finally managing the warehouse staff and fleet.
