I did my internship for a period of six months in four hospitals (Surya Hospital, Care Hospital, Prema Hospital and SubhamPrema Hospital) in the departments of Neuro and Neuro Surgery, Community Based Rehabilitation, Cardio and Cardio Thoracic Surgery, Orthopaedics IN and OUT patient, PT OutPatient Dept. and General Medicine and General Surgery. The internship fortified not only my theoretical knowledge but also my practical knowledge.

Workshop

I participated in the workshop on “Sports Injuries and Taping Techniques” conducted by Swantantra Institute of Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation, Rajahmundry. It comprised of sports injury and head injuries management, taping materials used and methods of taping for foot(plantar fasciitis, arch taping, turf toe taping), ankle(ankle sprain, TA tendinitis), knee (MCL,LCL and ACL injuries),shoulder complex(shoulder instability, ACL joint dysfunctions),elbow and wrist (tennis elbow, golfers elbow, TFC strain),spine(trapezius strain, interscapular pain,thoraco-lumbar pain),Pediatric taping and radiology for physiotherapists.
