Job Responsibilities

Undertaking daily inspection tours in areas of responsibility to ensure implementation of safety, and adherence to the procedures set out by HSE Management System and Project HSE Plan.

Ensure proper compliance by all personnel to the established Safety, Health and Environment controls and regulations in order to minimize risk of human loss/disability and materials damage.

Ensure a positive attitude with all personnel to ensure the safety standards are complied with continual improvements.

Conduct accident /incident investigation with Safety Management Techniques/Tools viz. JHA, JSA, TRA, ARA, assessing the risk and to prepare detailed reports and remedial action.

Ensuring all necessary safety systems and equipment are available and fit for the purpose.

Environmental impact Assessment, waste disposal and noise survey.

Drive continuous improvement on safety aspects.

Inspects equipment, facilities to identify violations of site safety rules.

Ensure a safe working environment, equipment and safety gear.

Prepare Job safety analyses /Job Hazard analysis and subject materials.

Review and monitor meetings to ensure effectiveness.

Keep up to date records or recommended code of practice, safety literatures and circulates information applicable to each level of employees.

Responsible for implementing safety procedures for PMC (PRE-Mechanical Commissioning) activities like air blowing, steam blowing, water flushing Chemical cleaning, Lube oil flushing and pneumatic testing.

Review all health and HSE related documentation, including Method Statements, work permit procedures and HSE equipment requisitions, to ensure compliance with established standards.

Act as the client representative on HSE matters for coordinating and conducting weekly site inspections.

Convene regular sub-contractor meetings to co-ordinate execution of various activities and ensure minimum disruption to work programs.

Review scope of work completed, from the HSE perspective, to identify trends and possible exposure to problems and prepare safety alert.
