A B. Tech Marine Engineering graduate seeking opportunities to grow as a trainee marine engineer. Excited to gain a continued education through hands on training and supervision.

I am a people-person. I enjoy interacting with people and feel privileged to have come from a joint family background. I lost my father when I was in the first standard and since then we have been living with my maternal uncle and his family.
I am a Boy Scout and love working in a team. I have no problems in stepping up to be a leader when the situation calls for it. The opportunity to become the Captain of my school football team in the 10th grade and School Head Boy in the 12th grade helped me grow tremendously, and helped me to develop my confidence
I’m passionate about my work and always strive to do my best. I try to face challenges and always try to learn from my mistakes.
In Tolani Maritime Institute I've had the opportunity to participate in the Cultural Festivals over the years as I play musical instruments like Guitar and the Flute. I’ve had the opportunity to become the Class representative in my final year. I have also participated in the Cross Country Event every year that is to run 5 km within 30minutes

Internship
Interned on the MV Prabhu Vidya in campus at Tolani Maritime Institute for five months
Reworked the wiring on the Dead Man Alarm circuit and changed the electrical components of the same.
Inspection and maintenance of the filter of the centrifugal pump in the Sewage Treatment Plant. Also checked the motor of the output pump.
Inspection and maintenance of the furnace of the Boiler Plant.
Overhauled the main engine L.O purifier for inspection, maintenance and repair.
Started the Auxiliary and Main Engines in the ship, and kept a close watch on the parameters of the alternator. The pitch of the controlled pitch propeller was altered.
Performed routine maintenance of the Main and Emergency Switchboard. Procedural cleaning and dusting of switchboards, after grounding was confirmed using a megger meter.
Performed routine visual inspection of all extinguishers in the ship.
Made a new shaft for an external gear pump using the lathe machine, and also did routine maintenance on other pumps on board the ship.
Took routine soundings before the engine was started and after the engine was stopped.
