Caterpillar has a list of some 400 products for purchase through its dealer network. Caterpillar products and components are manufactured in 110 facilities worldwide. 50+ plants are located in the United States and 59 overseas plants are located in various countries.

Responsibilities:

Understanding scope of B2B and implementing, Guiding the partners with Spoke Installation and BISLINK installation.

Setting up various communication-Protocols AS2 Spoke, AS2, SFTP and AS2/SSL with trading partners for exchanging the EDI documents

We migrated more than 400 Spoke partners over to new software called BIS Link within less period of time.

Foxconn is the world’s largest company, which supplies office related products across globe. It maintains the largest superstore of office products having associated with huge number of organizations. The Project includes the Development. It deals with huge number of customers and sends several invoices and Acknowledgements and other transactions, and the file formats are mainly client proprietary format.

Role and Responsibilities:

Analyse the EDI specifications for map development.

Developed EDI maps for Inbound 850,855,856,810 and 820.

Create test scenarios and developed test data to test EDI maps.

Created the Trading Partner Profiles.

Involved in Unit testing of the maps during the shift over to the production environment.

Discuss any EDI specification issues that were encountered during mapping. All the issues were put in a question log and get it resolved.

Participated in regular project status meetings and production status meetings.

Preparing the Mapping Requirements Specification and developing the maps (in ANSI X12, EDIFACT and XML) and testing after understanding the customer requirement thoroughly.
