Position organization to achieve execution of high-profile, complex construction projects, leading diverse teams in the pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and close out of federally contracted construction projects. Establish and maintain project schedule, controls, resources, and budgets. $20M Phase 1 Federal MATOC, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, OK: Brought into reverse Notice to Terminate by USACE for failure to comply with the RFP. Completed the contract 130 days ahead of schedule with the gross profit exceeding 50% more than originally expected.

$15M Phase 2, Federal MATOC, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, OK: Negotiated and awarded this contract phase based on previous performance and excellent CPARS rating. Project on track to be completed on-time and under budget.

General Manager

Sparhawk Metals, Inc., Sparks, Nevada 2012 to 2015

Wholly responsible for day-to-day operations in Fabrication Facility while overseeing field installation for structural steel. Led and managed staff and ensuring achievement of objectives; evaluated performance and recommended PIs as necessary. Identified and improved processes to increase efficiency and achieve on-time delivery as committed. Performed estimating and negotiations including design build concepts. Developed job costing program to accurately track fabrication and field erection costs.

Key Achievements:

Dramatically increased sales from $800K to $3.5M while reducing staff from 25 to 15 and achieving zero compromise to quality and production standards.

Principal/ Director of Construction Operations

General Builders, INC., Carson City, Nevada 1984 to 2011

Principal strategist and visionary for all construction and organization operations, overseeing staff of 17 and field crew averaging 100 in the execution of daily tasks and complex construction projects. While operating my commercial general contracting firm in Nevada and California I have built and developed multiple single-family home projects and townhomes.

I have built elementary schools for Washoe County and Douglas County School District.

I have completed 5 Community College Buildings in Ely, Lovelock, Battle Mountain, Carson City and Douglas County.

In my career I have built 4 multi million dollar projects at the University of Nevada Reno,-- UNR School of Journalism, Bridge Sciences Building, Med Science Lab Facility and the Judicial Center. These were all projects between 6 and 12 million.

In Battle Mountain I completed the Security Facility which was a two story county jail that had court rooms and the new Sheriffs’ offices.

For the Desert Research Center I completed their Science lab and their new conference center. This project exceeded 13 million dollars.
