Research Interest:
My interest in the field of Laryngology, was instrumental in me choosing Laryngology to be my area of interest for post graduate dissertation. My dissertation is titled- “A descriptive study to evaluate the treatment of allergic rhinitis in improving laryngopharyngeal reflux.” This study is currently being evaluated by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in keeping with requirements for completion of higher residency training. 4. Presented a paper titled “A Rare and interesting case of Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor mimicking maxillary sinus malignancy” at the Karnataka State and South Zone level ENT conference 2014 held at Raja Rajeshwari Medical College Bangalore, India and won the best paper award for the same

5. Attended Ahead 2015 a head and neck surgery conference and CME held at Amrita Institue of Medical Sciences Kochi and actively participated in the discussions in recent trend in Head and Neck cancer and its care practices in our country.
Teaching Experience:
As a post graduate resident, I have regularly presented subject seminars to other post graduates and faculty at department of ENT, BMC & RI and St. Johns National Academy of health Sciences.
I have regularly tried to make undergraduate otorhinolaryngology teaching more fun and interesting.
Leadership:
Elected as the President of St. John’s medical college students executive committee and students’ association 2005-06, organizing Chairman of Autumn Muse 2005 a national level intercollegiate medical, sports, cultural and literary festival.
Organised and was a part of the team which undertook flood relief operations by providing medical care during KOSI floods in Bihar, India and Nepal. Sports, Co and extra curricular activities:
Represented Karnataka State at National level basketball games held Guna, Madhya Pradesh in 2000
Awarded Rev Father Percivical Fernandes award for best sportsman in the year 2008.
Was the captain of the RGUHS university basketball team for three consecutive years at All India interuniversity basketball tournaments held at SRM Chennai, Trivandrum and Madras University.
Led the St. John’s Medical College sports and cultural contingent to spandan 2005 a national level inter collegiate fest held by JIPMER Pondicherry. Led the St. Johns medical college sports team to Silhouettes 2005 and 2006, the annual all India intercollegiate sports fest at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune.
Led the basketball team of St.John’s Medical college to victory at zonal and interzonal levels while being the captain of the team for three consecutive years from 2005 to 2008.
