As member of an editing team, edited user guides, reference manuals, training curriculum, and other documentation for enterprise software using Microsoft Word. Wrote user documentation using Arbortext Editor. Created hands-on tutorials. Served as project lead creating monthly release notes for various releases of software products using Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets. Performed processes to prepare documentation for publishing in various formats such as HTML, PDF, and ePub.

Peoplesoft: Denver. Colorado, 2003 – 2004 (acquired by Oracle in 2004)

As member of an editing team, edited user guides, reference manuals, tutorials, and curriculum for enterprise software under high-stress situations. Met deadlines while maintaining quality.

J.D. Edwards: Denver, Colorado, 1990 – 2003 (acquired by Peoplesoft in 2003).

Wrote user documentation for business and accounting software using Interleaf, Content Builder, and Ventura Publisher. Edited documentation with an emphasis on preparing content for translation. Chaired two documentation standards committees. Mentored new writers and editors.

Edited and mentored new writers, wrote guides for IBM using IBMs BookMaster, created graphics using IBM DrawMaster, helped start new offices as the company expanded to states beyond North Carolina.
