Human Resources Management. Administrator over all operations of the Human Resources Department to ensure effective delivery of programs for all 8 locations. Provide authoritative advice, guidance and direction to top-level management and key operating officials on HR strategies, programs, regulations and practices. Conducts yearly assessment for the effectiveness and adequacy of operations of HR Department.
Talent Acquisition/Strategic Workforce Planning. Developed partnerships with local and surrounding universities and State Social Work Boards to recruit key revenue generating positions.
Resource Management. Collaborates with CEO in preparing the yearly budget. Created Revenue Budget Spreadsheet to determine how much revenue should be generated weekly, monthly and yearly by each position at each location. Increased the retention rate from 80% to 93% from 2010-2011; 96%-98% from 2012-2014. LSA has maintained an average of 95% retention rate in the following years. Increased total revenue by $1.6 million for 2010-2011.
Implemented the use of Paychex HRIS System. The company had the Payroll/Preview System. Once the HRIS System was installed I conducted and audit of Payroll system to HRIS System, I discovered a $9,000 overpaid to an employee that occurred 3 years prior to my arrival. I informed the CEO and employee of the discrepancy. It was immediately corrected. This discovery revealed $27,000 of the $30,000 over budget the company had experience for 3 years.
Established a Performance Review System. I created a new PR document that was used throughout the company for hourly, Supervisors, Managers, and Directors/Executive Leaders. Everyone was evaluated on the same core competencies with their own job specific requirements. I was able to calculate any retro pay that was overseen.
Job Re-Classification. With the CEO and Board of Directors approval, I re-classified the job position of Case Manager and Activity Therapist. These positions were changed from salaried fee for service to hourly pay bringing them into compliance to federal regulations.
Implement the Kronos Time Clock Record Keeping. Prior to this installation, employees submitted hand written time sheets. The Kronos System improved accurate record keeping, tracking attendance patterns and reduced the possibility of fraudulent records.
Created Employee Survey. I created this survey that was administered yearly to gather feedback on employee concerns and suggestions. I created a spreadsheet with the end results and presented it to the BOD and companywide.
Conducted Annual Enrollment of Benefits. I distributed information companywide with detailed information on rates, changes, and deadline dates on Health Benefits and 401k Enrollment
