Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the panel assembly team for the availability of all client approved drawings
prior to implementation and stamp the documents appropriately either for construction use of for FAT use
- Coordinate with the respective project team members for material preparation and tallying of panel major and system hardware items
- Inspect and evaluate the material specifications and quantity after installation based on the Bill of Materials of the approved documents; generate a record list of item’s serial number for
future reference
- Raise concerns to respective engineers for material tally & specifications discrepancy
- Inspect proper component installation, labelling and tagging based on the approved layout and
wiring diagrams
- Observe the performance of wiring continuity check before power-up of panels
- Participate in the system check and evaluation of the functionality of all devices installed during
power-up
- Conduct regular inspection during and after assembly/installation activities and generate a
record (punch-listing) of all observable defects either in the quantity of items, pending works,
functionality of devices, and the overall appearance of the installation
- Check the availability of all test record documents prior to delivery
- Evaluate site installations and field wiring terminations based on the approved drawings
- Generate and submit punch point list based on inspection, and
- Conduct re-inspection after punch points have been resolved by the responsible project
engineers
- Same duties may also be required for instrumentation installations
- Prepare As-built and propose drawings for the client.
