General Electric’s (GE) working capital solution (WCS) is responsible for managing the account receivable from its various business units. Existing application chain called GCARS – General Electric Core Accounting Receivable for loading and processing the invoices from various GE businesses. GCARS includes multiple batch (COBOL program) and web based applications. The project aims at migration of selective COBOL programs for performance and cost saving purpose.

GDCINTRANET – CORE APPLICATION FOR MAINTAINING SECURITY AND COMPLIANCE IN GE. IT USES SQL SERVER DATABASE AND JAVA JSP AS ITS FRONT END LANGUAGE.
