OBJECTIVE

ME in Material Science and Engineering and one and half year’s industrial experience. Currently, seeking a full- time position of Metallurgist or Material Science Engineer where I can utilize my abilities, knowledge and skill for betterment of the organization and to put it a new height with which I associate and thereby, the society also in the process learn more and enhance every aspect of mine.

WORK EXPERIENCE

Jr. Metallurgist, Bhagwati Metal Industry, Gujarat, India Aug 2015 – Nov 2016

Provide technical/manufacturing support in metallurgical issue in area of melting and casting.

Handle responsibilities of shaping and melting metals by using metallurgical engineering guideline.

Perform technology reviews and provide periodic status on casting processes to Sr. management.

Perform mechanical testing, chemical analysis and non-destructive testing of materials and reviewed the results and make report.

Analyzed process variables in order to reduce rejections and variation through corrective actions.

Conduct investigation on product rejection and offer solution based upon findings.

Analyzed process data using statistical analysis, statistical process and quality control, designed experiments and trial orders.

Work with supervision and management and initiate corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.

Support supplier process optimization, root cause failure analysis and scrap reduction activities related to casting process.

Ensure that all metallurgical & quality activities are in alignment with customer requirements and/or corporate standards.

Reviews metallurgical requirements for order & quotes.
