ABOUT PROJECT :- This project report contains the final year project entitled “Design of an integrated sugarcane-based biorefinery”.The concept of biorefinery is analogous to today's petroleum refinery, which produce multiple fuels and productsfrom petroleum. By producing multiple products, a biorefinery takes advantage of the various components inbiomass and their intermediates therefore maximizing the value derived from the biomass feedstock. This projectgives deep insight into this problem and the need of bio-based fuels which are environment friendly and that lessenthe independence on the petroleum based products

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Two months Industrial Training on "The Study on Mechanical, Biological and Chemical Effluent Treatment Plant" in VIZAG STEEL PLANT (Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited), Ukkunagaram, Duvvada, Visakhapatnam from May to July of 2014.

Participated in a workshop conducted on ASPEN PLUS software in ANNA University, Chennai in the year 2014.

Organizer of Chem E-Car event which is a part of RASAYANIKA in ABHIYANTH, the Technical fest of RGUKT, RKValley in the year 2015.
