Acute pain service (3 months plus weekly 36 hours on call): Conducted acute pain rounds; identified and treated acute pain using regional catheters with elastomeric pumps delivering local anaesthetic mixture as well as Patient controlled analgesia machines. Chronic pain (2 month): Examined patients with chronic pain, assessed as well as treated pain with multimodal analgesia (including opioid transdermal patch, interventions, PCA) as per WHO ladder; assisted consultants during the conduct of neurolytic / sympatholytic / diagnostic blocks.
